As of late i have been content with life and all of its surroundings, i go to work monday through friday and get paid every two weeks, Damn the Man. I work because I must, but id rather be happy and work isnt making me happy. The same daily routine gets old and tired but this is only temporary, a mear stepping stone to greatness or to find euphoria in life. Im trying to get a job at the Troc or TLA or something along those lines where i could get some good experience in the Concert venue business. I promise you, i will open my own concert venue soon enough, whether i stay in school or not, It will happen. ok , next subject. It is mid July and the heat is just sweltering. My room is a mess, it desperatly needs to be cleaned. Think the opposite of Martha Stewarts jailcell, Thats what my room is looking like. I have to about a thousand pounds of wash. I hate washing clothes. I wash em as i need em i guess and thats starting to get annoying, any voulunteers to wash my clothes for money "hit it up aim style son" as ya know, Not Paul would say. I hate rap, its cliche and god awful. I still think about how i used to listen to y100 on the radio, when it was good ol fashioned DECENT music. Radio blows anyway but most of you know that already. I have no other qualms about anything, atleast nothing notable at the time so start endless blather now. Oh yeh, I cut my finger today cutting a breakfast bagel. It was poppy seed and not even worth it, it was stale and get this, the knife, nah it wasnt a CutCo or anythign special, a simple too sharp for its own good butter knife. who gets cut by a butter knife, its like cutting yourself with a nail file. I deem my cut awful, i was dumb to cut myself. Ben is a weiner, he like my soft hands **Circa Survive** saw that show the other night, oh what was it? Saturday the 9th of July. The show was down at the TLA on south street. I love the TLA for it is an intimate setting where you can see a good show at a good price, and oh yeh its real loud. i like loud, hence my loss of hearing. I feel as if the only way to listen to music is loudly, so my advice to you, play it loud, play it long and ummm play it ?hard?. hah, that was funny. im dumb. But anyways, Circa Survive show was reaalllllll good. They played for an hour and only have a cd and ep out, they played a lot of stuff and even had an encore of Handshakes at Sunrise, it was real nice. Hometown shows are always the best, and always get the best response from the fans. Anthony Greene has an incredible stage presence and dances like a fox. I met him at West Chester and he LYkE OmgZZzZz!!!!1111!!1 signed a book that i bought it was sweet, hes a real nice dude who is down to earth and isnt gonna let this buzz surrounding him change who he is, a true musician in my book, although hes only a vocalist, hes still a musician. Emanuel played before Circa and put on a pretty tight show, ew i hate the word tight. they sold their cd for 5 bills so i decided to pick that up, although going into the show i told myself id buy a shirt. oh well i already have a circa tee and emanuels shirts were da Ugly. Another band Arms of Orion played, they were A-OK in my book, nothing toooo special. I missed a band before them but was told they were also da Ugly. Amidst the chaos inside of the TLA it was Greek picnic weekend and that simply means that there was lots of *whispers softly* black people running around in their recently bought G-Unit T-Shirts and Shorts that arent really shorts but closer to pants but not really pants. na mean? Last but not least, id like to talk about how i am happy in my relationship, i am in love and loving it (makes sense, eh) :) So as Read Yellow says "let's leave baby, on the next train" Till next time, later days |
