i believe that this could my longest hiatus away from this journal since its introduction over a year ago....i really have no reason for not writing or journalizng or blogging, whatever you want to call it, i havent made time for it....well lets see where do i even start with the spectacular happenings of my so called life<---that used to be the name of a show, but.....i never watched that trash....so anyway hmmmm lets see about a half month ago i got to go see coheed and cambria again, and wow that was just uber-sweet....claudio is a god and coheed and cambria are his angelic minions....they were even better than the last couple times that i have seen them....they played a full hour and a half set and it was just a non stop onslaught of noise.....the pits were pretty intense and this one kid attempted to beat the shit out of my by pulling my hair like a woman....but that is why you go to a concert with friends and family in my case....my brother, sal and camby helped me take care of that *for lack of better words "douche bag"* i mean i guess my hair was at its most pullable point for it was the longest i have ever had it and my fro was a big bunch of goodness....my fro is better than half the black people i have ever met/seen....bring it black people, bring it!...hmm so what else has happened.....well school has been very school like and it kinda sucks for the most part because learning sometimes isnt always the most eventful or fun thing to do....but its been schoolish...and to tell you the truth i dont think that i am even going to carry on about it anymore, consider the school subject dropped....so now that that is done, lets see.....it was my birthday the other day, the 4th to be exact and that went ever so well....Sure, ill explain in detail......well at 12 o'clock i recieved a phonecall and on the other end i was sung happy birthday by cait and gina and michelle and it might have been the best rendition of the song ever known to man.....and than the calls poured in ;) thanks to all of those who wished me a happy birthday, there is just something about it when people say those 2 simple words that can make you feel extremely good about yourself....its just something that is inscribed into our brains at a y oung age....so yeh alot of friends said happy birthday, thanks to yall...so than the next morning when you can actually celebrate my birthday rob said that he would sign me into law and society class for my birthday so i got to sleep in on my birthday till roughly 11......got to go out to lunch with my dad at the dark horse pub down in olde city<----sooo good....note to self, when i turn twenty one, must go to dark horse to party....looks like a happening bar to me , should be good than, but thats in two years and who knows if i even remember that in two years....so than that was over and i got on home to the dorm.....boo on me calling my dorm my home....well its not, home is home and home is good....but wow yeh i got off the subject there, so than on my birthday night i got to spend it with the one and only....it was raining so that really wasnt cool but its all good....so met caitlyn halfway and she was carrying my gift, which i wasnt aloud to know anything about for a good week....turns out to be the most amazing gift that i could have recieved, a scrapbook that was so well put together youd think it was professionally made.....i looked through it under our umbrellas and just enjoyed everylast detail on every last page, caitlyn, i love you! something that is made is better than anything that can be boughten. i dont even know how to say how much something like that can mean to me, amazing sweetheart, amazing....after we met up we went out to eat at the draught horse which is different than the dark horse where i went earlier in the day....that was nice and tasty and now that i think of it i could really go for some leftovers from that, mainly the fettuchini...mmmmm....after the ever so sweet dinner we went back to 1940 and stayed there in caits dorm for the night....that was good and fun, i got a good amount of sleep and kinda "missed" class in the morning....caitlyn, although you think your plans were spoiled by rain, they werent, everything was amazing and i loved every bit of it, thank you sweetheart! so that was my actual birthday.... good stuff....ahhhh the next night.....earlier this week i had decided that i had wanted to go to a concert the day after my birthday, my friend ally had asked me about the band moe and if i liked them....i believe that i had heard OF them before but no actual recordings...so i decided to give them a chance and download some of the stuff....i knew that they were a jam band and you really cant go wrong with a jam band...i liked the stuff so me casey rob drew and ally go to the concert down at the tower, the tower was awesome, acoustics were great and the band was just incredible, i never thought id see a band play for a good 3 hours....and there was just so many breakdowns and amazing solos....ahhh i dont even want to give away how good it was....if you want to go to a concert that will change how you look at music, go see a jam band, those guys no how to do it right....awesome night....and than we got back to the dorm....and our door was locked, so we were locked out....i slept in my suite mates room and i pretty much just passed out, soooo thats really all there is about all that.....lets see im going to the matchbook romance show later on this month so that should be just awesome....i also wanted to go see a static lullaby but i dont know how all that is going to work out....the music that i have been listening to lately has been kind of all over the place...i really am into a few bands though lately, they really havent stopped playing on my computer: they are......the sleeping, the arcade fire, broken social scene, cursive, elliot smith, minus the bear, say anything....those bands/artists have been just amazing these past few weeks...i cant get enough of em, but ofcourse i need to be in a certain mood to listen to some of them....but....all are good in their own sense.....so go download music by any one of those bands! NOW! nobody really ever does listen to my music recommendations at all....ahhhh this is one of the longest journals i have ever written, quite possibly the longest....so on that note im going to get on the go and get out of here and stop writing down my thoughts.... i dont know what else to write anyway, im sure i will soon though, so till next time....later days....
